Thought Leadership

The case for leadership is compelling; accountants, consultants and commercial colleagues have embraced leadership, and businesses have benefited from transformational change as a result. The time has now come for lawyers to define their own leadership role and contribution, or risk not being included in the talent pool for senior executive positions other than on an exception basis.

A great deal has been written about leadership, but very little relates to leadership for lawyers. The focus of GLL is to explore and challenge thinking in this area, from the GC's perspective. GLL has set up initiatives to develop products and breakthrough thought leadership, to deliver the transformational change that is required for lawyers to become leaders.
